Wink & Wag is not a traditional photography business.
This is a hobby I’ve poured my heart (and honestly, way too much gear money) into because I genuinely love photographing animals. Charging set prices, building “packages,” and focusing on profit would take the joy out of it for me, and I never want this to feel like something I have to do instead of something I want to do.
So… I don’t charge for pet photography.
Yes, really.
So how does this work?
All Wink & Wag pet photography sessions operate on a Pay What You Can (PWYC) model.
That means:
- There is no required fee to book a session
- You are welcome to contribute any amount, or nothing at all
- Payment (or lack of payment) will never affect how much care, time, or effort I put into your session
If you choose to contribute, please know this:
100% of any money received from any pet photography session goes directly into a dedicated savings account.
That fund exists for one purpose only — to help offset gas and travel costs for end-of-life pet photography sessions, so I can continue offering those sessions completely free of charge to families who need them most.
This system allows me to:
- Keep photography joyful and pressure-free
- Avoid turning love into labor
- Sustain free end-of-life sessions without financial strain
- Make pet photography accessible, not exclusive
What’s included in a session?
Even though there’s no price tag, every session still includes:
- Thoughtful, patient, pet-led photography
- High-resolution, fully edited images
- Both color and black & white edits
- Unwatermarked files for personal use
- A relaxed experience centered around your pet’s comfort and personality
A gentle note about PWYC
Tips or contributions are never expected, but always deeply appreciated.
If you’d prefer to wait until after you see your photos to decide whether you’d like to contribute, that’s completely okay. If you’d rather not contribute at all, that’s okay too.
The only thing I ask is that this model be treated with respect.
It exists so I can keep showing up for pets and their people with compassion, not pressure.
