🐾 A Quick Sniff of the Fine Print 🐾

At Wink & Wag, we like to keep things light, fluffy, and full of fun just like our four-legged models. But even the cutest photoshoots need a few ground rules to keep tails wagging and everyone safe. Think of these as our “paws and clauses”; not boring legal stuff, just helpful little nudges to make your session smooth, safe, and full of belly-rub energy. 🦴✨

Now, on to the fine paw-print…

Leash Required (Unfenced Area)

As much as I love a good zoomie, please keep your pet leashed in unfenced areas. We’d rather capture their sparkle, not chase them down the block.

“But what about the ugly leash in the photo?” Don’t worry, we have the power of editing. We can be safe while also getting some frame-worthy shots.

Vaccinations

I’m all about wagging tails, not wagging germs. All furry models must be up-to-date on vaccines. Healthy pets = happy snaps!

Pet Behavior

Wink & Wag is pro-wiggle and pro-woof, but aggressive or unpredictable behavior may lead to an early pack-up. Please let me know in your initial email if your pet is wary of strangers so that we can brainstorm ways to make this a positive experience for your pet.

Arrival Time

I run on dog time (which is always ‘right now!’), so please arrive on time. The golden hour waits for no pup. There is a 20-minute grace period for all sessions.

Weather/Reschedule Policy

I’m all about capturing your pet in their best light (literally). If the skies decide to throw a tantrum (rain, extreme heat, or anything that might make tails droop and ears flatten), we may need to reschedule. Safety and comfort come first for both humans and their furry co-stars.
But don’t worry, if Mother Nature puts a paw print on our plans, I’ll work with you to pick a new date that keeps the vibes bright and pawsitive. Cloudy skies can be cozy, but soggy pups and slippery paws aren’t exactly camera-ready. Unless, of course, we’re planning a mud-loving adventure session… in which case, bring towels. Lots of them.

I do my best to religiously check my weather app days before our scheduled session. If I can help it, I will reschedule with several days’ notice if the weather is looking bad for our day. I’m sure you know how unpredictable Georgia weather can be, so sometimes I will suggest rescheduling the night before or morning of.

If something comes up and you need to reschedule, please give me at least 48 hours’ notice.
Notices under 24 hours will incur a $15 fee. This does NOT apply for end-of-life sessions.

Outfit

Feel free to dress up your pup: bowties, tutus, and bandanas welcome! Just no matching outfits unless your dog also approves it.

Just the Fur-Focused Stuff, Please

I adore capturing the bond between pets and their people. That’s my jam (and peanut butter). While I totally understand the love for maternity shoots, newborn snuggles, solo family portraits, and engagement sessions, I specialize exclusively in pet photography. If there’s no wag, whisker, or woof involved, I’m probably not the best fit.

Think of me as your go-to for anything that barks, meows, or wiggles, and their favorite humans, too (as long as a pet is in the picture, you’re golden).
