Pet Photography

What Even Is Pet Photography?

(Besides me making ridiculous noises behind a camera while your dog ignores me)

Let’s get one thing straight: this isn’t about perfect poses or matching bowties — although if your pet has one, I will absolutely scream with joy. Pet photography at Wink & Wag is about freezing the glorious, messy, weird, wiggly moments that make your animal them.
We’re talking tongue-out Tuesdays, sideways flops, dramatic head tilts, zoomies, bleps, and those soulful glances that say “I have no idea what’s going on, but I love you.”

What Happens During a Session?

Short answer: chaos.
Long answer: lovingly managed chaos with treats, toys, and an absurd number of squeaky noises.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Step 1: I arrive (or we meet at a spot your pet loves). I immediately bond with your animal using my two secret weapons: a dog voice and snacks.
  • Step 2: We hang out. I let your pet lead the session. Shy? We go slow. Hyper? We roll with it. Demands attention like royalty? I become staff. By the way, I fully expect you to gush about every story about your pet.
  • Step 3: I shoot a million photos. Some will be majestic. Some will be unhinged. All will be uniquely them.
  • Step 4: You get a gallery full of joy. That includes wall-worthy portraits and the one where your cat looks like they just saw a ghost. You’re welcome

“But My Pet Won’t Sit Still.” GOOD. Moving pets are my specialty. Sitting is optional. Personality is mandatory. I work with nervous rescues, wild puppies, grumpy cats, and absolute clowns — and we always find the magic. Even if that magic involves bribery (I call it strategic snack deployment).

Why It Matters

One day, you’ll look back on these photos and remember:

  • The way their ears perked up when you said “walkies” or “car ride”
  • That ridiculous sploot they did on hot days
  • The pure, unfiltered joy they brought into your life

These aren’t just photos. They’re a love letter to your best friend.

Ready to Book?

If you’re ready to turn your pet’s quirks into artwork, let’s chat. Bring your furball, your sense of humor, and your treat pouch. I’ll bring the camera and the squeaky chicken.

Let’s make some weird, wonderful memories.
