I take pictures. Lots of them. Sometimes upside down. Sometimes while crouching in the worst yoga pose. I specialize in photographing pets, especially those in their golden, silver, or rainbow-hued twilight years. My job? To capture the belly flops, side-eyes, snoots, and soul-staring moments that make your furry friend them, and to help you hold onto those memories forever. Do you have a pet? Furry, scaled, feathered, or bald? I’d like to photograph them, please.

I’m Ari, pronounced “AR-ee” — Professional Pet Paparazzi, Treat Dispenser, and Soft-Spoken Cryer Behind the Lens.
What Do I Do?
I photograph pets in all their glorious forms: from classic pet portraits (because sometimes your iPhone just can’t capture that perfect sploot), to human + pet sessions that put your furry boss right in the spotlight. I offer senior pet portraits that celebrate greying whiskers, noble snouts, and the art of the nap, as well as end-of-life and legacy sessions: quiet, tender, love-filled moments meant to honor every second you have together.
My Style?
My photography style is relaxed, candid, and full of personality, just like your pet. I focus on capturing authentic moments: the sideways glances, the floppy ears mid-run, the little habits that make your animal them. I’m not about stiff poses or forced smiles (fur or human); instead, I let your pet lead the way and meet them where they’re happiest whether that’s in a field, on your couch, or halfway through a treat. The result? Honest, joy-filled images that feel like your life… just with better lighting.
How did I get here?
What started with borrowing my dad’s PowerShot in the early 2000’s turned into an obsession with light, shadow, and capturing the weird, wonderful magic of everyday moments. I started offering my photography services in 2024 and haven’t regretted that decision for a second. Since then, I’ve worked with amazing pet parents, pets, and wild animals (okay, maybe just some geese in my apartment complex). Prior to working with animals, I was a college student (and you can find a portfolio of my college work on this website, too).
Why Wink & Wag?
The Wink
Wink is for Odin, my one-eyed rescue Chug (chihuahua–pug mix) with a pirate face and a heart twice his size. He’s scrappy, stubborn, and absolutely irresistible, and the reason I believe every pet deserves to be seen for exactly who they are, even if they’re missing a piece or two.

The Wag
Wag is for Peanut: my tiny, elderly chihuahua with six teeth, a big personality, and a medical chart longer than most novels. From her human-like sit to her snaggle teeth, she keeps me laughing. She keeps me on my toes and in the vet’s office, but she’s also the reason I understand just how precious time is with our senior pets. Every click of the shutter is my way of honoring the love, chaos, and tenderness these dogs bring into our lives: one wink, one wag at a time.
I’m sold, how can I contact you?
